A Governor's School for the Arts Senior Exhibition

Harlie RushThe Hermitage is proud to continue its relationship with The Governor’s School for the Arts by hosting Waving to Strangers, an exhibition featuring the most recent artwork by Governor’s School senior, Harlie Rush.

Waving to Strangers includes an exciting range of media including drawing, print, photography and mixed media.  Often with a surreal and ethereal approach, Harlie uses her artwork to express intangible things and to create permanence for her “past, present, and future connections and realizations.”  With a wide range of subject matter, the impressive body of work presents emotion, irony, and serious contemplation in surprising ways.
