Membership allows you to actively take part in all the exhibitions, events and programs the Hermitage offers throughout the year. ‘Caprice’ was the name given to the Sloane Family yacht, used as a patrol boat during World War I. Florence Sloane hosted a number of exhibitions at the ‘Seaboard’ Airline Building in downtown Norfolk. The ‘Wainwright’ Building was constructed in 1929 with funds provided by William Sloane and is named after Florence Sloane’s mother.
