There are many opportunities to make a difference! You can donate your time and talents to the Hermitage in many different ways. Volunteers are needed year-round in the Museum and Gardens as well as at special events. Internships are offered in several exciting areas to college students in the fall, spring, and summer.

How do I become a docent?
Anyone can become a docent. There are no educational prerequisites, just an interest in and passion for the arts and a desire to share these with the public. Community members wishing to become docents must complete the Docent Training Program. This program lasts four months and is offered in both the fall and spring.

The Hermitage Museum Internship is an unpaid, volunteer position. Students are responsible for contacting their respective school for all academic and funding requirements. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and receiving college credit for their internship to apply.
