The Hermitage makes art an interactive experience by consistently offering a variety of programs and classes for adults, children, and families.

Programs

Children’s imaginations and skills are encouraged and nurtured through a variety of art camps, field trips, and environmental programs. Additionally, we continue to support the local arts community by hosting six artists in residence at the Studio Artists Cottage. With our offerings constantly developing and expanding, there is something for everyone. Come experience one of our programs and see what makes the Hermitage Home to the Arts!

Classes

Art classes at the Visual Arts Studio provide artists the opportunity for creative exploration within the unique setting of the Hermitage. Classes are offered year-round in ceramics, photography, painting, drawing, mixed-media, and creative writing. Open studio time is also available. Lectures and workshops are held in conjunction with changing contemporary exhibitions throughout the year.
