“Mini” Sculpture & Handbuilding

In celebration of our special exhibition Tiny Treasures: Selected Works from the Tidewater Art Alliance, learn to create mini boxes and handbuilt lanterns or votives. Great for all levels.
$75 for members + $25 materials fee

Miniature Painting
(3 sessions)

Mondays, 7:00 - 9:30 p.m.
Join guest artist James Warwick Jones of the Tidewater Art Alliance to learn about painting supports, subject selection, using reference photographs, materials and techniques, and matting and framing.  This workshop will emphasize composition and personal expression.  Course will include an historic overview of miniatures, a gallery talk on the Tiny Treasures exhibition, lecture, discussion, demonstrations, individual instruction and critiques.  Paintings in oil, acrylic or watercolor will be 4”x5” or less.
$90 for members + $25 materials fee
$110 for non-members + $25 materials fee
