Have you seen the beautiful millstones scattered throughout the Hermitage grounds?  Learn to make your very own millstone and add this unique decoration to your lawn or gardens.

Leaf Casting Workshop
(2 sessions)

September 18 and 25 Saturdays, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Make rustic cement garden art in this two-day hands-on workshop. Using real leaves as “stamps” students will make a cement impression which, once cured, can be painted in various styles. These castings make great bird baths, butterfly puddling stations or bird feeders. Express your personal style by using a variety of leaves from the Hermitage grounds or your own garden.  Leaves that make great impressions include fig, grape, elephant ear and hosta. Dress for mess - you’ll be working with cement.  
$70 for members + $25 supply fee
$85 for non-members + $25 supply fee
